welcome to my awesome music corner
i fell deep in love with music ever since hearing upon really cool things from the depths of soundcloud my taste shows how much of a hot mess and terminally online degenerate i am.
i don't have much technical music knowledge even though i have played some instruments and tried to make music. so excuse me if i don't make sense or I sound like a cornball...

but just sit back and enjoy my rambles...

cool genres:
---------------

Honestly overall just a bunch of experimental hot mess shit that idk what genres they'd sit in 🤤...
but i guess hip hop/rap, r&b, bossa nova, hyperpop, electronic, alternative/indie rock,

warning: hot shit | IF I LEARNED HOW TO MAKE MUSIC AND DJ HOLY SHIT I WOULD MAKE THE COOLEST SHIT | djyuviko | might have to prepare your ears | what is a life without music???

bluthat - vol. 10

[released 2024] i really have been burnt out and tired i think this encapsulates a lot of what ive been feeling. though listening thru this rekindles some of my love for art again.
it reminds me when i feel a little hopeful, then I dont. and then over and over again I do and I dont.
i feel like a fool for feeling any hope but i still cling on to it...

i love this with all my heart

r0rcon4 / MOM$ - "L1K3ÜKN0WH4SSUP"

[released 2020]Idk this changed the way i looked at music... this got me through covid and i love every bit of it, especially r0r's side.

especially love songs 3-7, 9, and the last song. the 9th one is so good ifk why. but yeah this album means the world to me

BAD NEIGHBOR - MED, Blu, Madlib

[released 2015]i feel like this needs more love all the songs are so good and fun and groovy. The Strip its fucking amazin and def one of the songs ive listened the most on loop. Knock knock, belly full, serving are also my top favs in this album.

liv.e - couldn't wait to tell you

[released 2021]really lovely songs, I love every bit of this all the songs which is rare. most of the albums I list here are based on if i really like all of songs in it. Lazyeaterbetsonherlikeness always stuck in my head.

black midi - welcome to hell

[released 2022]Awesome this shit is awesome I also like calvacade a lot (thats how i found them first) but so very cool. id say that Sugar/tzu is my absolute favorite. awesum funky harsh sounds.

100 gecs - 10,000 gecs
[released 2023]ok. I was a 100 gecs hater. I hated the music so much. To my past self: Shut the fuck up.
they really grew on me i think it was stupid horse that converted me lmao. i then saw their new album and i gave it a listen. Oh my god that is awesome. Reminds me of parry grip which is fucking awesome. I love Billy knows Jamie, Hollywood baby, Doritos and Fritos, and Frog on the floor. Frog on the floor is awesome. I also cant wait to play "I got my tooth removed" when i get my wisdom teeth pulled out.

jpegmafia / danny brown - scaring the hoes
[released 2023] i so sorry 2 da hoes... but this album is so delicious... personal favorites from here are Shut yo Bitch Ass Up / Muddy Waters, God Loves You, and HOE (heaven on earth).

i think this my favorite from him so far ^_^ so happy to hear danny too. but man I culd animate to so many jpegmafia songs...

danny brown - atrocity exhibition
[released 2016] first introduced to ain't it funny in my recommendations and I absolutely fell in love with his stuff cause of his unique voice and instrumentals.

this album is filled with raw emotion and heavy themes about struggles with drug abuse, and a unique sound id never heard up until that point. my absolute favorite is when it rain, but i also enjoy really doe, white lines, pneumonia, and golddust.

SOPHIE - oil of every pearl's uninsides
[released 2018] ok very interesting story how i found her. 7th grade me stumbled upon ponyboy, through acai's guitar hero playthrough, and i was kind of scared of this song lmao😭 but i kept listening to it and here i am. i didn't expect that middle school me would come to love her music, but something about her sound was so unique and mesmerizing and I just couldn't stop listening...

I came back to it the beginning of this year and gave other songs a listen (during middle school i only knew ponyboy, faceshopping, and it's okay to cry). i fell in love into whole new world though, and I also love immaterial. but yeah, such a beautiful album and a wonderful experience ♡ rest in peace SOPHIE.
